A few weeks back I did a message on how to beat burnout and mental fatigue.  In that message I shared how I personally run hard through the winter and spring knowing that I have a finish line that gets here the first of July.  Knowing that you have a finish line allows your body/mind to work hard for a “time” and then cross the line into a break.

My finish line for this ministry season  (vacation) starts July 5th!  The Hibbard family is ready! We are not taking laptops or any email device.

After that teaching, many of you told me that you too needed to set some finish-lines in your life!  We need one, each week and each year.  Our bodies function better when we are not living in over-drive mode.

Another finish line I have done for the last 3 years is to NOT BlOG during the month of July.  None, Nada, Zippo!I BLOG everyday during the week except during July!

So…..this is it until August!

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday as we celebrate the birth of our country! Also, I hope you are looking forward to the summer with your family and friends! We have a great series planned for July as Brad Saab takes over for a few Sundays with his great teaching!
