Are you making changes?

Our Camelot series has been great. Many of you have shared how much you have enjoyed and agreed with what we have been teaching. Here is a question for you:  Are you making any changes?

Look at what James says…

James 1:19-24

19 Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. 20 Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. 21 So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.

22 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. 23 For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. 24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.

Have you made any changes in your family values, actions, discipline, expectations, etc.

Remember:  Direction (what you do) NOT intention…..determines your destination.

Speaking of direction that determines our destination……how are you doing in these areas?

Personal Devotion:

  • Are you Praying regularly?
  • Learning and following the Bible?
  • Experiencing personal and group Worship on a regular basis?

Shared Responsibility:

  • Are you Loving others in a way that accepts them and cares for them?
  • Are you Serving others through the ministries of the church?
  • Are you Giving to through a tithe?
  • Are you Sharing your hope and faith in Christ with those who are lost?

We have another VERY special guest this Sunday! I can’t wait to introduce this person to you!
